JOS: the whole thing saddens me. But it hasnt succeed in discouraging me from going to Nigeria and giving back to the country and its people. All those people are dead now ,for what? why? innocent people, especially children who had dreams& hopes for the future, Children who had soo much to live for, who have not yet seen the world and all that it has to offer. You know, the Nigerian gov't makes me sick. They are failing their people, and they are turning a blind eye to it.
How can people be so wicked? they burnt a child??
Having spent a considerable amount of time in Jos growing up, it saddens me to think that the soil that nurtured me while I was there is now saturated with the blood of innocent women and children. I have no words...none at all. 9ja is a troubled and ailing land but its home - as "unstable" as it is ...I'm glad you (much like me) are still committed to being the change you wish to see in the world, our world, our land.. The only hope for the future of 9ja is a new generation of educated youth We'll get there some day!

Those pictures are so gruesome. I cried when I saw them first. God help us!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the shout out.
I must confess, we really need God's hand in Nigeria. Stuffs like these are embarrassing to us as a nation. It all boils down to our leadership. Although the cause of it is ancient - years and years back- but I believe with good leadership in place, change that'd last can be brought in. Albeit, where are our leaders?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 50th post.
