Dear Nigeria

Dear Nigeria,

My heart bleeds for you.

My heart bleeds especially for your youth--the children, the future lawyers, doctors and engineers of

the land that is you.

The heart of Africa is what they used to call you.

But your heartbeat is growing faint as the days, months and years progress...

You are hanging on to life by the skin of your teeth.

You are slipping away and with every haggard breath

and every bone rattling cough, your time is running out.

Your leaders are raping you... raping you of all your natural resources

and you are trying to recover, trying to get back on your feet and try once more

The youth are being robbed of a potentially bright future

.
The discrepansy between the rich and the poor are too obvious to ignore.

You are dying a slow painful death.

Your citizens are tired of you & so they go,leaving your shores by the millions. To another man's land, confused and alone, longing for the familiarity of' home'.

They would rather claim citizenship of a foreign land, than deal with you and the trouble you cause them.

They get rid of that green passport like they are running from the black plague.

Can't you see what is happening?!

Dear Nigeria,

I hope you get better soon and when you do, I will be right by your side, guiding you to greatness that

the world once held you to.
